Your Initial Garage Flooring Consultation:

Your initial consultation is free, as we simply want to provide you with all the information you need to make the best decision. During your initial consultation about new garage flooring, our professionals start by gauging how you use your garage. We want your flooring solution to work best for you. We don’t try to push you towards the most expensive option. Instead, we want you to be satisfied with your garage floor and the budget it takes to install it. Everyone uses their garage differently and some individuals may benefit more from one flooring solution over another. Before we begin installation, our professionals ask questions such as:

  • How do you use your garage floor?
  • Are you doing heavy mechanical work; dropping wrenches; or spilling gas, brake fluid, or harsh chemicals?
  • What are your priorities? Aesthetics, function, price?
  • How much slip resistance is needed?
  • Do you need your floor completed in one day? If so, fast cure materials are on hand to ensure the quickest possible turnaround on your floor.

Our Garage Flooring Installation Process:

Keep in mind we offer guaranteed pricing, meaning that once you receive the detailed statement of work and a warranty document, we will not change the price of your floor. Any additional costs that may accrue during the project are ours to cover. After we have determined the best solution for your garage floor, we can get started on the installation process. Our process will vary slightly depending on the unique floor we plan on creating. However, in general when installing a new garage floor, we use the following process:

  • Moisture test the concrete substrate to make sure our choice of base coat epoxy will withstand the moisture vapor emissions from your pad of concrete- this will ensure proper bonding even if you have high moisture content in your floor.
  • Diamond grind the floor. Proper floor prep is essential to a successful epoxy coating.
  • Patch all imperfections and control joints if requested.
  • Base/Primer/vapor barrier coat of epoxy is applied.
  • Broadcast vinyl chips or color quartz if desired.
  • A clear top coat of urethane or a polyaspartic is applied to provide high performance wear and a long lasting top coat.
  • Additional top coats of a high-performance urethane can be applied for additional protection if needed.
